Frame # is 3463577, Motor # is CDF2122. Rear Cylinder stamped 98076. Here is what is missing: front fender, entire handlebars top assembly, seat, flywheels, pistons, rods, cams, front cylinder, exhaust, floorboards, outer primary cover, chain guard, taillight, possibly some small bits of hardware. Rest appears to be OK. Does have a lot of good little gingerbread pieces: Schebler DLX carb, nice BSC speedometer showing 12,185mi, nice original ignition with keys and Amp meter. Nice guide 5" spotlamps, very rare bullet lights on rear fender (never seen these before), rack on fender. Has a lot of internal motor parts. Comes with 3 rims."
Indian Frame and Engine Numbers - Q&A
Question: "Are the numbers matching? The numbers you listed are not, but your add says they are ????? Thanks."
Answer 1: "The Ohio title matches the frame, the motor may not. We are not good at this letter to number conversion..."
Answer 2: "Code "CDF" equals 346. Third letter in alphabet is "c" fourth letter is "d" and lastly the sixth letter is "f". So the engine is indeed a 1946, but the frame numbers do not match the engine. This affects the value of an Indian as the numbers should match."
