Joe from Medford, Oregon, United States made available these photos of his 1949 Indian Scout Vertical Twin motorbike which has a 440cc vertical 2-cylinder engine.

Joe: "1949 Indian Scout motorcycle. It has a 440cc vertical twin motor (only used by Indian in 1949) and 4 speed trans. Stock type Edison magneto ignition with generator and battery for the lighting. This mild custom has a Delorto carb, the paint is late 80's Harley crimson/brandywine colors."
