1936 Indian Scout Bobber
Wayne from Bacliff, Texas, United States made available these photos of this 1936 Indian Scout Bobber with 750cc V twin flathead engine, and which he restored from the ground up.
Wayne: "Ground up restoration, engine, transmission, forks, wheels, hubs, brakes, electrics (changed to 12 volt). Everything is new and built to standard specs. All Indian equipment except for the charging system, saddle, rear fender and taillight, grips, mirror, brake lever. Modified to left hand shifter but can be switched back easily."
Wayne's Indian bobber has left hand shift right next to the tank, and left foot clutch and right foot rear braking at the floorboards.
Wayne: "Motor has new NOS sleeves, rings, all bushing races, shafts, pins, bearings, valves, tappets, pushrods, rollers, etc. Rods rebuilt and line bored back to factory specs. Carb is a linkert M-51. Transmission stock and in perfect condition, excellent clutch. 21 tooth counter shaft sprocket for highway. New primary, generator and rear chains."
Indian Flathead motor with left foot clutch at the footboards.
Wayne: "Wheels stock 18" with new hub races and bearings, powder coated rims and hubs. SS Buchanan spokes, new avon tires and brake shoes. Front end girder all new bushings. Handlebars stock with all internals, tracks straight, handles great!"
